Started out the day with Bob’s Dad coming over this morning for Belgian Waffles. The Dad’s both enjoyed opening their Gift Cards from Omaha Steaks….good thing they both like to grill :)
Of course we couldn’t forget our special little Boy’s Birthday today!! Brandon got to open his gifts from us this morning….it was a treat!! He asked for sidewalk chalk so ran right out and we started writing messages on the sidewalk and driveway.
I thought this was so sweet that Brandon wrote a special message to Daddy…..Happy Dad Day. It’s hard to share your birthday on a day that is celebrated for Fathers. We had quite the day and it was equally fun for all. Brandon picked McDonalds to eat for lunch and then we went on a 2 mile bike and hike around Black Hoof Lake. We were so hot from that we went straight to the pool!! For dinner we grilled out at our house with Grandpa Ed, Grandma Liz, Aunt Linda and Aunt Patty.
Daddy made a special Wacky Cake for Brandon and it was DEEE – Licious!!

Great pics! What a fun day! Sometimes Jeff's bday falls on Father's day too. I really like that pic of Grandpa Ed too. Glad you were able to be w/ both dad's. Happy birthday to Brandon!
