Allie's Middle School puts on a very nice Awards Ceremony for the 7th & 8th graders at the end of the year. So on this evening we were able to watch the accomplishments and honors given to the 8th graders and were especially proud of our daughter!!! It's much like a Graduation where they are called onto stage and handed a very well put together Certificate of Excellence along with a handshake from the staff. On that Certificate are the stamps of outstanding performance. It was a bittersweet moment since this is Allie's last year in Middle School!! It was almost like a Graduation Ceremony where everyone was celebrated and encouraged as they are about to embark onto the next stepping stone of life....High School!!!!
So proud of our daughter in how far she has come and how well she has done!! Counting on more achievements from the excellent foundation she has already received as she is headed into High School Also counting on help from the Grace of God....It's not all easy raising a teen-ager in this day and age and we will be up for challenges ahead!!
To celebrate Allie's outstanding achievements we stopped in for a late dinner at Sushi Gin....our family had an amazing time as we spoke of everyone's achievements and talked and felt the excitement of school drawing to a close for summer.

Even the boys liked taking off their shoes and eating Japanese style....chopsticks and all!!!
