WOW What a thrilling season of High School Softball!! Proud beyond words of my daughter!!! She showed us so much energy, talent and perseverance!! It wasn't all fun and games all the time BUT hard work always pays off and you feel a great sense of accomplishment!! It's not if you win or lose but how you play the game!!! That really struck home this season!!
Allie seemed so confident, even before tryouts and during tryouts. She continued that confidence throughout the whole season!! We were so proud of her early in February with her 6am morning conditioning up at school. After a few weeks she became a member of our gym and actually started working out!! To me right there means a strong willed girl!!
Practices every single weekday night...that never let up until the very end of the season. Double headers 2 nights a week...spending the entire evening out on the field and in the dug out....
Not leaving the ball park until dusk...makes for a very long evening but a special one at that!!!
Fans, family and parents spending countless hours in the bleachers drinking hot chocolate early on and still wearing winter gear for the first couple weeks. Little brothers playing in the dirt, drinking Gatorade and running free!! Team snacks and dinner with friends after the games were some of the other highlights!!

Allie WOULD AGREE ON THIS ONE...MEETING A NEW BEST FRIEND!!! Wow these girls could not be separated through the season and did everything together!! I hope their friendship continues and they both tryout again next year!!
Team dinners...makes for Great Comradery...oh and the many overnights the girls had together!!! Yes this was at our house and what a great group of girls!!! I had a spread and they all came over after practice one evening and YES they can EAT!! Taco bar with all the fixins and of course my special Strawberrry Shortcake for dessert!!
Even Coach Lorenzo came over and gave me one of his goofy expressions we all love so much!!! Love this Man...the girls can agree he is one of the best coaches around!!! Wow the girls couldn't say enough nice things about him....and his speeches at the Banquet put tears in our eyes!! He is definitely someone you can look up to and be inspired by....THANK YOU COACH - my daughter will have fond memories of you forever!!
The much anticipated Softball Banquet was better than expected!! Such an inspiring way to end the season!!

A couple Moms on the Booster Club put these posters together of each girl....AWESOME!! Such a keepsake!
One evening towards the end of the season all the Moms got together for a pendant making night!! We took the pictures of our girls we had been taking all season and cut them out and attached them to this pennant. The little decals are so cute and I even found some softball stickers and punch outs at the scrapbook store....this was a fun night....softball Mom bonding!! We surprised the girls and had the pendants hanging up at the Banquet.
The Booster Club had a wonderful brunch catered in for the banquet. The girls final time together as a team. The Varsity team sat right at the next table.
So much work involved....so many Memories!!!
