Busy Boy Weekend

Our 9 year old had quite the weekend a few weeks ago.  It started out with the beloved Pinewood Derby Race.  This is quite the to do around our house getting the car prepared, attending work shops, and the building excitement!!  Brandon designed his car off a Ferrari this year & painted it bright yellow with red racing stripes.  

 

The Ferrari came in third place in his den and he was very excited!!!  Even little brother’s outlaw car came in third place!!   Until next year Pinewood Derby….a tradition the boys will wear close to their heart!!

 

The next part of the weekend consisted of 5 basketball games for this guy – gotta love tournaments!!!!!! 

 

Brandon is really finding his place in basketball and doing well!!!  I also love the fact we’ve had a mild winter and the boys are always out shooting baskets in our new hoop in the driveway!!

 

And finally the weekend ended with his very first indoor soccer game…..Comets style!!!  He did amazing and loved the small little field filled with action packed soccer play!! YOU KNOW there will be pics to come on this!!
