Easter Weekend

Easter weekend brought many pleasures!! I just noticed I have the wrong year plugged in my camera..eek! Anyway the cupcakes turned out adorable and I used fruity licorice sticks instead of sour patch straws....just as cute and yummy!! Logan enjoyed licking the homemade butter cream frosting off the beaters. I gave the treats to Brandon's Sweet Kindergarten teacher, one of my favorite Daycare families, a couple neighbors that have done special things for us lately and the kids ate the rest!!

We've been going on family bike rides every weekend weather permitting and between soccer games. It's great family bonding and exercise and there are some fantastic bike trails in our area! We finally got a picture of all of us on the bikes this weekend.

Eggs!! Logan was very intrigued by the Easter Eggs this year. We wanted him to be included in the action and THAT he was! He dipped a few of his own eggs, peeled and sliced them, then finally ate them!!

I LOVE this picture!! We woke up on Easter morning and painted our Eggs. Sat night we went to a 2 hour Vigil Easter Mass so we had extra time Sunday morning before heading over to Grandpa Bob and Molly's for Brunch.

Coloring Easter Eggs is something everyone of any age likes to do!! Daddy bought a really cool coloring kit that squirted out splattered paint dots on the eggs so the kids had some extra fun with that. We also made a bunny cake and the girls had fun decorating it and and all the kids had fun eating it!

Easter is about being with Family so we were able to spend time with the cousins for a few hours while we had brunch. This is Baby Jakob and Logan together. Logan didn't get to hold Jakob in the hospital so this was very sweet. We took lots of pics of this pose!! It was fun going through and looking at stacks of pictures with the family too.

This is a nice picture after meeting for dinner tonight with the Family. Although the weather turned out rainy and cold today it was still nice to be with family and share a meal and have some Easter treats together!!
