LOVE LOVE LOVE A Good Weekend!!

My Valentine and I were able to sneak away to a dinner party on Saturday night!!!  Our good friends Jeanine and David had us over for dinner the second year in a row for an amazing romantic dinner for the Love Day celebration.  Jeanine is so creative and comes up with these beautiful marriage quotes and quizzes.  This year 3 other couples in our St Gerard's Circle also joined us for dinner and it was such a fun time and exciting to hear about the history of their LOVE with wonderful food and drink.  Cheers to Good Friends!!!   

Back at home Hannah our soon to be 12 year old on March 1st, had put together a little party of her own with some friends from her old school....some of her best friends at that!!!  We decided to go with the Valentines theme because it was so fitting for this particular weekend.  It's funny we have never had a real Valentines theme for her birthday in her 12 years, so it was quite fun and easy to pull it off, in fact it was hearts and Valentines overload. 

Hannah likes to look silly in her pictures so I caught a few of her best poses while we were singing and watching her be funny and blowing out her candles.

Yes even almost 12 year olds like piñatas.....YES for the CANDY!!  Since it's way too cold outside we hung the piñata in the garage the next morning which worked out great!!  Party #2 in a couple weeks for this lucky girl.....friends from her new school.  

Valentines Day was fun....look where we got to go for lunch!!!!

We picked up Grandma Liz and headed to the New Fritz's in Shawnee....everyone was excited!!   

We got a little teary eyed when Grandma opened her Valentine present.  This is a picture of my Dad from the Marine Corps that I have had and just recently found again.  Mom had not seen it in years so she was quite taken by the picture and the fact that Young Grandpa was eating lunch with us :)

Had a wonderful day with the family.....Valentines Day was very very special!!!
