Grandpa Bob's Birthday

We celebrated Grandpa Bob's Birthday at George's Pizza a couple days before his actual bday since he and Molly had some travel plans through the wkend. Our family had been hit by a pretty mean virus through the week so we were all finally feeling better come Friday night. The kids had been fever free since the day before so we thought we were in the clear. However, later in the evening Brandon took a turn for the worse with a fever again and complaints of severe stomach pain so we took him to Children's Mercy Urgent Care Center. After doing the x-ray the Dr. said his stomach pain may be due to gastritis (irritation of the stomach lining) from the virus. Then Bob and Logan ended up feeling worse today and both got on antibiotics after making a couple more Dr. trips. The girls and I were ready to get out of the house by this evening so we did some early Christmas shopping (well it's early for me anyway!!) The Mall was so dang crowded you'd think it was the week before Christmas....did get some good stuff though :)
