Thankful for the 5 Senses

I love this time of year for many reasons and every aspect of it includes the 5 senses~

SIGHT - the changing colors on the trees, the first snowfall, fall fashions, scarves and boots, the beginnings of Christmas sights....

SMELL - woodburning fireplace, scented candles, baked goods in the oven, fresh cool air....

TOUCH - sweaters, warm coats, comfy jammie pants, fuzzy socks, warm blankets, warm showers, kid cuddles, warm skin.....

HEAR - humor, laughter, excitement, anticipation, Christmas music, family & friends gathering, church bells, salvation army bells...

TASTE - hot chocolate, pumpkin latte, egg nog, red wine, chili, soups, any warm food, holiday treats.....

and

EMOTIONS - for the ability to feel and express them deeply especially in a time of uncertainty but mostly because of being thankful for what you have!!
